Portugal : IPM win a contract for 7500 Trilogy

In competition with various Payphone manufacturers, IPM have won a contract for the supply of 7'500 outdoor Trilogy Payphones for Portugal Telecom.

The choice of IPM was based on the high performance of the REMAS III remote management system and the reliability of Trilogy.

On the beginning of this contract Portugal Telecom bought 4000 Combi (card and Coin) and 3500 Card only. The introduction of the Euro coins incites Portugal Telecom to upgrades all the Card only into Combi Phones.

In addition from this year all the Trilogy accept the credit Cards and the billing is done directly to the Bank.
